I spent the 4th of July in Reno, NV, visiting my mom for her birthday. She took me to the coolest parts of Reno - like Midtown, a counter-culture neighborhood filled with art and murals for days. It reminds me of certain parts of San Francisco.

Red, white, and blue. Reno is a great place to be on Independence Day. It's a very patriotic city, and they don't skimp on the BBQ or fireworks by any means. I don't think we saw a single person all day who wasn't sporting the red, white, and blue.
