While in San Francisco for the holidays, we explored one of the cutest local neighborhoods for boutiques and restaurants: Hayes Valley. We stopped in for lunch at Lunchpad, and were pretty impressed!

I ordered The Teamster sandwich, which came packed with roasted turkey, pastrami, swiss, dijon slaw, garlic aioli and grandpa's pickles. Something in it was super spicy - maybe the dijon slaw - but despite my aversion to strong spiciness, the sandwich was so amazingly delicious that I devoured the whole thing anyway! Also, grandpa's pickles are the most scrumptious pickles I've had in a while - and I love pickles!
The furniture gives away Lunchpad's nighttime transformation into a club called Noir Lounge. I'll have to come back and see it at night sometime!
