Based on my numerous Rocksbox reveals, many of you have probably gathered by now that I'm a big fan of the monthly subscription boxes! There's something about having a box of goodies delivered to your door on a regular basis that I just can't get enough of. I got the chance to try out the ClubsGalore Gourmet of the Month Club, and thought it would be a seriously perfect Mother's Day gift!
The pasta came in sets of cute little "nests" |
I was really impressed by the Gourmet box I received. We cooked the Spinach Basil Garlic Angel Hair Pasta and covered it in the Artichoke Pesto. The combination made for really interesting earthy flavors that complemented each other nicely. We added some baby shrimp to add to the gourmet feel of the dish.
Next, we tossed a spinach salad with the Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette. I loved this dressing, since the lemon was light, but the dijon had more earthy flavors. They complemented each other really well.
Et voila! Here's our super healthy, gourmet, and scrumptious dinner, complete with shrimp-spinach-artichoke pasta and and a spinach salad!
Now for my favorite part: dessert! We grabbed a poppyseed greek yogurt bread loaf from Trader Joe's and drizzled the melted Dark Chocolate Toffee Sauce on top. The rich chocolate sauce really went well against the light poppyseed, and left us all wanting more!
The great thing is that ClubsGalore just started a gifting program, so you can send a monthly subscription for Mother's Day! For moms who love to cook, this is the perfect gift because there will be new inspiration and really good products at their doorstep every month. They even provide a gift announcement you can print out and give as a physical gift! You get to choose from over 40 clubs, like dessert boxes and pampering boxes.
If you're thinking about getting a subscription for Mother's Day, be sure to use code CGMOM5 for $5 off your first box and free shipping! The code is valid through 5/10, and if you want it to arrive before Mother's Day, there's 2 day shipping from 4/26 - 5/7 and overnight delivery from 5/6 - 5/8.
I definitely feel more inspired to branch out with my ingredients now. I wish I could have gourmet meals delivered this way every day!
