Woodhouse Fish Company

If there's one thing that binds the food scenes between SF and Boston, it's seafood. Boston is known for its epic lobster rolls, and San Francisco is the birthplace of the amazing cioppino (fish stew).

Both cities have mind-blowing oyster selections as well. One of my favorite local spots for oysters in SF is Woodhouse Fish Company. Tucked on a busy corner of the Castro, Woodhouse has $1 oysters every Tuesday to kick off your week. It's so easy to justify stopping in for a quick bite whenever you walk by!

Aside from their scrumptious seafood, Woodhouse Fish Co has this impossibly quaint ambiance that makes you feel like you could be in a small fishing village, even amid the hustle and bustle of Market Street. From floor tile crabs, to fishing equipment and black-and-white photos of SF in the early 1800's, I love the scene that it sets.

Fresh, cool, and topped with a squeeze of lemon, the oysters themselves are always a treat.

The local nautical antiques really make the seafood experience come alive. It reminds me of the amazing time we had last year at the Boston Seafood Festival. Aside from clam chowder and lobster rolls, they had an oyster shucking contest and a 39.5 lb lobster. I can't wait for this summer's seafood adventures!

Spring into Rocksbox

Some say diamonds are a girl's best friend, but I disagree. Give me variety in my shiny things and I'm a happy camper. That's probably why I'm fully obsessed with Rocksbox, since they send me new goodies every month to keep up with my jewelry game!

This month, I received the incredible Mia Necklace by Slate, the gorgeous Celeste Bracelet in Gold by Gamine, and Graduated Bar Chandelier earrings by Trina Turk. I loved the golden theme, and how the necklace really made me feel like a princess!
