This weekend was technically fall in Boston, but it felt like the heart of summer! So I ditched the sweaters and the tights, keeping 2 of my favorite fall staples: plaid and booties. This weekend I ventured to the Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival for some fun in the sun with two of my three amazing roommates – Alana & Kimia!
The music was great, of course! There were 3 stages, which ensured that jazz was constantly flowing through your ears. Loved it.

Drum circle. Yes, we did participate – so fun!
My booties were cute but didn’t last long! Luckily I brought flip flops in my bag. Don’t tell the fashion police.
How cute are these fruit drinks?? We decided to get a coconut water.
Yup, that’s a machete man cracking open the coconuts for everyone. He was awesome.
We even got to pick our own coconut!
Way too excited for this!
Turns out coconuts are really small. We went back and asked the machete man to machete the coconut again so that we could eat the meat. It was more fun for the novelty than for the fruit itself.
All in all, it was a super fun day & definitely filled with sun!
