I had a lovely visitor over labor day weekend, and I took her to see the Boston sights! We took a stroll down Newbury Street, through the Public Garden and Boston Common, and wove our way through Beacon Hill until we reached the Tip Tap Room for some scrumptious brunch before kayaking down the Charles River.
We both got the lobster scramble, which was amazing and super fresh. I love how they give you a generous serving of leafy greens on the side for a healthy start to the day! The seasoning on the potatoes is a great touch. Best of all, there are plenty of seats inside which eliminates the usual long lines that accompany a good brunch.
Nick got the turkey burger – Apparently it was the best turkey burger he’s ever had due to it being packed with flavor and topped with the sweet addition of cranberries. At first the thought of cranberries sound odd on a burger, but when it’s a turkey burger it actually makes a lot of sense!
With full bellies, we were able to properly tackle the Charles on our kayak!
