Sometimes all you need is a solid weekend getaway. Somewhere between a full-out tropical adventure and a staycation. Portland, Maine fits the bill with its incredible seaside views, renowned restaurants and local breweries!
I recently made a trip up with my roommate to attend the LL Bean small batch boots event, which was honestly so fun and decorated to the T. We got to stay in the stunning Westin Harborview, which seriously lives up to its name with gorgeous views of both the harbor and the city, window sills you can sit on (my favorite since I love to stare out at a nice view), a glam bathroom, a workspace, and even our own hallway within the room!
Who doesn’t love a giant vanity mirror with flattering lighting? If it looks super roomy that’s because it is – the whole suite had plenty of space which we loved. Plus, check that rainfall shower head!
Room service at the Westin is beyond convenient. They have a menu where you can check off your desired dishes, select a time for it to be delivered, hang it on your door, and it’s there on the dot in the morning. Plus, they even have specialties like the Sleep Well Menu, to help you stay rested during your stay here.
My favorite part is the Westin Weekend, where you can have extended breakfast and late Sunday checkout on weekend stays. Doesn’t get much more relaxing than that!
Mirror mirror on the wall, who doesn’t love a suite with it’s own hall?
Live footage of us deciding what to order for breakfast. Spoiler alert: the pastries are phenomenal – we were very impressed!
Cutest fall setup in the lobby. Just wait for the ceiling decor…
Ok but really – how pretty is this lobby? I love how it’s sleek with a touch of glam, and not too over-the-top; just like their rooms!
On to the LL Bean event! The Bootmobile was out in full force outside of the venue. I love how detailed it is.
Chicken and pineapples roasting on an open fire – that’s how the song goes, right?
These s’mores were to die for!
The interior of the event was set up super rustic, like you were outdoors camping. Good thing we had our LL Bean gear on!
Cozy with good company – I won’t argue that.
LL Bean boots – which pair is your fave?
Does it get any cozier for a boot honestly?
Bloggers, boots and brews!
We obviously had to grab some goodies from The Holy Donut before driving back to Boston!
I definitely recommend the Westin Harborview for wonderful views and an incredible stay in Portland, Maine. You’ll feel super cozy and luxurious here for sure. They even have an on-site spa, dining and a rooftop with panoramic views!
P.S. Don’t forget to bring your LL Bean boots, too!
